Robotic process automation (RPA) and intelligent automation (IA) are similar but distinct concepts that are frequently confused. RPA can be supported by IA platforms, however IA is not required for RPA to work.
When compared to RPA, intelligent automation reduces costs more since it automates more effectively by resolving exceptions, interpreting unstructured data, and continuously learning.
